Karate principles the need for personal growth and self-defense. In Sree Gokulam Public school Guruvayur, students undergo this training by internationally well-known professionals. Learning karate helps to develop self-discipline. It marks great importance in a child’s ability to focus, helps him to build confidence and to acquire patience. Our students are trained to develop these essential qualities. Competitions are held to evaluate their performance and belts are awarded to move them to the next level of training. Compulsory martial arts practice for girls from eighth grade onwards is a key policy of the school.
